Self-care and why it is so important to disconnect

The world has changed a lot, especially our relationship with productivity and rest. We continue to look for emotions that make us feel in tune with live but, in this world that "leaves us with no time", sometimes we forget about ourselves.

These modern pressures can wrecked our health but, not so many years ago the "wellness" philosophy pointed out that our lifestyle needed another approach. We should learn to focus on what we can control. Self-care became an excellent strategy that allows us to manage stress and prevent sickness.

Self-care favors our beauty and helps a lot to maintain our mental health. This is important because having "time for you" promotes that rest that we do not replenish properly. You can start practicing it with small actions in your daily routine.

Try the facial mask, change your look, go for a walk, dare to disconnect from everything and sleep early. Practice yoga, reconnect with your friends, go out and see the stars, eat something you like, read a chapter of a book or just sit and relax. You can also try to do this but in a completely different scenery. One more exotic maybe?
